By Nicole Albrecht + Florian Jünger
We design spaces, within the existing or from nothingness. Sometimes small and intimate, other times spacious and robust. We love straight lines, brave interventions and unexpected details.
In both private and commercial projects, we explore the (im)possible with inspiring people, always with the aim of reflecting our client's values.
Curiosity, friendship and our shared passion for challenges form the basis of our creative work.
It's nice to meet you!
Berlin, Südstern - a typical early 20th century townhouse. Here, hidden on the first floor, one can find the salon of stylist Philipp Hofstetter. We were asked to create a quiet and clean atmosphere for a cross-section between hairstyling, fashion and beauty. Mobility and lightness were of high priority in order to give room to different scenarios such as events, product presentations and private styling. Just with a few simple tools and without touching the substance of the existing architecture we achieved all changes wished for. Mobile elements made of OSB such as mirror-units, a small counter, shelves for product display and several storage units were placed throughout the space. Partial light pastel tones, besides colored textile cables, are the only contrast to the natural timber atmosphere.
